<description>Qtel Group asked Jack Morton London to re-think its presence at the MWC show in Barcelona. The response was to use an exterior pavilion, position it right across a pond and build a bridge between the main traffic area and the pavilion.
The rules governing the use of graphics on pavilion facades were also bent to create a multi-layered semi-transparent structure in front of the facade instead of the regular window application.
The result was a peaceful, inviting and relaxing oasis, with simple messaging and great focus on hospitality.

<description>Although IDF is always a great challenge and the JMW team keeps raising the bar in terms of user experience, space design and sustainability, one of the highlight of 2011 was the party. It featured Will.I.Am and Apl.D.Ap and presented a good challenge as the space was bare and hard to use with a light budget.

The show also featured a new approach to way finding signage via a dynamic contextual LED screen providing minute precise information regarding the show. This element, present on floor 2 and 3 also supported branding and IDF vision statements.

		<description>34,3.94N - 118,20.75W ±1 represents a micro view of Los Angeles.
Each picture represents a precise point in time and space in the evolution of a spontaneous and always evolving form of art created by the accumulation of artist's action and city's reaction.

All pictures were taken within a mile radius from the GPS (34,3.94N - 118,20.75W) geographic point. The pictures were taken by phone only, with no image treatment and were automatically geo-tagged at the time of the shot.

Three small books were made and I invite you to download them below:

<description>As I was studying architecture at the Paris La Villette Architecture School, I got introduced to Naval Architecture and decided to explore it further by studying it.

Although I graduated from that study, I never actually built of designed any boat but naval design and architecture remain a fascinating world where engineering merges with design and the "form follows function" theory takes a very interesting turn.

Below is my final project called Maelar, in reference to a classic French comic book:
"Le Grand Pouvoir du Chninkel" from Jean Van Hamme and Grzegorz Rosinski.
Maelar represents the sea from which freedom and peace will come.

This project is a search and rescue boat designed for trans-ocean sailing races. Its innovative design, developped in partnership with ENSTA (École Nationale Supérieure de Techniques Avancées) allows operation in extreme conditions with high stability and performance.

I invite you to explore the high resolution presentation boards available here.

I hope that you enjoy it.
Thank you for your time.

<description>Jack Morton created a 100' long stage integrating Musion holographic 3D projection technology for the 2011 Hyundai National Dealer Meeting in Las Vegas in order to deliver an innovative and cutting edge series of business and executive presentations.
Rigorous planning and precise design allowed a complete integration between live executive presenters, vehicles, speaker support content and holographic content, creating a seamless yet spectacular result.
Developing the largest implementation of musion technology worldwide to date brought many challenges. From massive screen resolution to a totally new approach to keynote content design, every element of the show had to be very carefully crafted to insure maximum visual and emotional impact.

		<description>Nike Los Fearless

Jack Morton created a never been done before basketball event for Nike at the Lower Grand Tunnel in downtown LA during the All Star Weekend. The basketball tournament was called Los Fearless in an adaptation of the game that truly inspired and rewarded players for playing fearlessly, i.e. Fierce Ball. The tournament was highly competitive and entertaining to watch, only one team out of 64 could be the Los Fearless Champions.

Designed and developed in close collaboration with James Feser (design direction), Cara Adelman (art and creative direction) and the rest of the fantastic JMW Los Angeles team.

<description>Western Union decided to celebrate their 160th anniversary at the New York Public Library by inviting 200 high profile guests and main speaker Kofi Annan.

Beside designing and producing the event, Jack Morton also created a series of historical museum style display and two interactive tables.

Visitors to the event were each given a unique commemorative coin they could place on the table to begin their experience. After being greeted with a personalized message they were able to explore a variety of Western Union products and services by transferring money all around the world.

Designed and developed in close collaboration with Nikolai Cornell and PUSH.

<description>I have a passion for airships. Unfortunately airship projects don't come up often enough so I decided to make it my architecture Master thesis subject while studying at the Paris - La Villette Architecture School.

Armilia is a cruise airship in the line of the great Zeppelins of the beginning of the 20th century.
Below are some presentations boards and I invite anyone interested in the topic (and reading French) to explore the thesis book, available here.

The dirigible was named Maelar in reference to the Cités obscures from Peeters &#38; Schuiten, a fascinating comic book work of art.

You can also download the presentation boards here for further exploration.

Thank you for your time,

<description>The Intel Developer Forum (IDF) is the premiere technology industry event in the country. IDF boasts over 5,000 Developers, Business Managers, Technology Managers and more from around the world, who gather to learn the latest technology developments and get hands-on training necessary to stay ahead of the next generation. With over 170 hours of training, seven keynotes and 140 exhibitors, attendees get a first-hand look at where the industry is headed, giving technologists the information they to develop and design the most relevant products of the future.

To start, the three major objectives of the event (collaboration, education &#38; vision) were mapped to the Moscone Center West in San Francisco, creating a natural and efficient attendee flow and experience.

Then the current “sponsors of tomorrow” campaign got translated into an IDF specific creative treatment, maximizing the integration between the brand message and the onsite/offsite attendee experience. The “white board” concept was explored to be used at its full potential across all parts of the event, including online and in social medias while specific elements were developed to enhance the attendee experience such as the Upload Lounge (for Social Media), the IDF Network Central (allowing realtime monitoring of the IDF IT structure), or the 32nm display (providing information through printed graphic, media and augmented reality tools).

<description>This project started as an idea which we developed and presented to Nokia. They loved it and had 2 trucks made. Each truck traveled to different Australian cities, stopping for the day at the beach and allowing the locals to explore the phone, play each other and relax while watching videos and having a drink. The truck has a built-in powerful AV system and can run 8 hours without starting the engine. It just needs to be plugged-in to a regular power outlet to be recharged at the end of the day.
